PROFESSIONS / PROFISSÕES

Traduza para o português as funções / responsabilidades de algumas profissões:

1) As a TEACHER, one of your main roles is to motivate your learners to develop their ability and aspiration to learn. ... The focus of your role relates very much to inspiring your learners to change and develop their personal, social and professional skills to the best of their ability.Teachers create lesson plans and teach those plans to the entire class, individually to students or in small groups, track student progress and present the information to parents, create tests, create and reinforce classroom rules, work with school administration prepare students for standardized tests.

2) TRANSLATORS convert written materials from one language into another language. The goal of a translator is to have people read the translation as if it were the original written material. Translators must properly transmit any cultural references, including slang, and other expressions that do not translate literally. A translator Interprets written or spoken material into one or more other languages, ensures meaning and context are maintained, creates glossaries or term dictionaries, possesses knowledge of multiple languages.

3) FIREFIGHTERS (FIREMEN) typically do the following: respond to fires, accidents and other incidents where there are risks to life and property; drive firetrucks and other emergency vehicles; put out fires using water hoses, fire extinguishers, and water pumps; find and rescue victims in burning buildings or in other emergency situations.

4) A MECHANIC is responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles, machinery, and light trucks. Also known as Service Technicians, these professionals oversee maintenance inspections, monitor inventory, assemble mechanical components, and perform repairs. They usually work in garages that are indoors.
